It\u2019s Friday and I am exhausted.\u00a0 We have a restful day other than a trip to supersol where we are in pastrami heavan.\u00a0 Never have we seen such a beautiful (and affordable) selection of kosher meat.\u00a0 I am sure the thrill will pass but for now it\u2019s exciting.\u00a0 We find a nice cafe and I practice reading Israeli newspapers.\u00a0 I learned a few fascinating facts.\u00a0 Apparently there is a shortage of sperm donors in the country and women are having to look elsewhere.\u00a0 I suggested my husband go along and donate \u2013 (you can get up to 400 shekel for it, I think it\u2019s worthwhile) but he doesn\u2019t take me seriously, even though I could get a really pretty pair of sandals with that money.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t get it \u2013 women can be surrogates suffering nausea, varicose veins, pains, heartburn and all the rest for 10 months but they can\u2019t be paid, men do something which, lets face it, takes only a few minutes and is hardly taxing, and they get paid.\u00a0 How can anyone say we have equality??!<\/p>\n
