It\u2019s glorious here.\u00a0 Perfect weather, beautiful views of mountains and the flat kindly donated to us by a family on holiday is in a very convenient location.\u00a0 For some unexplained reason there is no hot water but we will cope.<\/p>\n

We go along to Clalit to register and meanwhile Jojo befriends a little arab boy who is playing with the pushalong car.\u00a0 We watch to see what he will do, but he just stands and smiles at the boy, awaiting his turn.\u00a0 The 2 women with him adore Jojo, and they coo over him, photographing him zillions of times.\u00a0 Eventually they boot their kid out to let him in.\u00a0 A lovely moment for political relations.\u00a0 Soon the two boys are playing happily together sharing the car, until Jojo tries to stroke the other boys face saying \u201caaaahhhh\u201d (which he normally only does to little babies and grandmothers) whereupon the other boy shoves his hand away, clearly thinking he is a pansy.\u00a0 Ah well.<\/p>\n

A trip to Supersol cemented our Israeliness, as yes, my child was the one screaming for more bamba at the checkout.\u00a0 Luckily, in a flash of brilliance, I had started him on the Own Brand (hopefully, he will never know the difference and frankly it tastes the same).\u00a0 It also has the added advantage of being a bigger pack, so mummy gets to have some.\u00a0 So so tired from our journey, I decide we must rest or I will end up giving birth on someone else\u2019s sofa.<\/p>\n

In the evening our new friends take us along to the dance festival.\u00a0 Jojo runs around flirting with everyone in sight, and we see some amateur dancing (varying degrees of skill but that\u2019s what you get for a freebie event).\u00a0 I am thrilled that a small town like this can host such a cool and cultured event.\u00a0 People come from all over the country for it.\u00a0 I see the little tents and think of Glastonbury.\u00a0 Would it be the same without the mud?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
