\nGift from the neighbours
\nNow she’s with us!<\/p>\n

Who’s going to catch her?
\nJojo or Roni?
\nBet she can give ’em
\na run for their money<\/p>\n

\nshe’s finally here!
\nI’ve only been waiting
\ntwenty-six years
\nshe’s white with brown spots
\njust like the first dog I met
\nhis name was Toffee
\nmy piano teachers pet<\/p>\n

Dog in the house!
\nWhere will she sleep?
\nHere by the door
\nShh! Not a peep!<\/p>\n

I know that dog!
\nHer name’s Ayala!
\nJust like our friend
\nand whats-her-names mother.
\nLook she likes crumbs…
\nlets drop some more
\nMummy wont care
\nif we litter the floor<\/p>\n

\nDON’T OPEN THE DOOR!
\nShe’ll run down the road
\nand I’ll give you what for!<\/p>\n

\nwhat does she eat?
\nlets give her some eggy
\nMummy can she have a treat?
\nshe poos outside
\noh great more pee to clean
\nlets leave it to Husband
\nHe’s really keen!<\/p>\n

\nAnd small noisy boys?<\/p>\n

\nI’ve finished my shower
\nplease don’t disappear

\nJojo’s up again
\nare you sure she’s for keeps???
\nYes Jojo she’s staying
\nbut we’re not sure about you
\ngo back to bed
\nthis place is a zoo<\/p>\n

2 adults
\n2 small boys
\n2 hamsters
\na dog
\nget me a whiskey
\nand a warm fire with logs<\/p>\n

\nbiscuit crumbs pitter patter
\nif Ayala doesn’t eat it
\nit doesnt matter!
\nwe can road test our chametz
\nThank goodness she’s here
\nwe can rest in peace
\nwe couldn’t last year.<\/p>\n
